|  Rick Hunter heads Lexbridge’s Houston Office. Rick has over 28 years of business experience in investment banking, public accounting, and industry. Mr. Hunter currently advises companies involved in a broad range of industries on mergers & acquisitions and raising capital, and provides business valuation services.
During his tenure with Morgan Keegan & Co. and Capital One Southcoast, Mr. Hunter advised companies on mergers & acquisitions and helped to fund their growth through private placements of debt and equity, and initial public and secondary offerings of common stock. His experience also included serving as special adviser to company boards of directors to assist them in the evaluation of strategic alternatives, and provided fairness opinions. Industry experience includes oil & gas, oilfield service, branded consumer products, industrial and private label manufacturers, retail, technology, barge building, and aviation services.
Mr. Hunter’s industrial experience includes 10 years with Tenneco, Inc. which was a large international conglomerate with divisions involved in numerous industries including chemicals, packaging, shipbuilding, oil & gas, natural gas pipelines, insurance, real estate, and automotive parts. He held positions as a manager in the company’s corporate finance group and in the operational & capital budgeting department.
Prior experience also includes a position as a senior tax accountant for Briggs & Veselka & Co., which is Houston’s largest locally owned CPA firm.
Mr. Hunter earned an M.B.A. from the University of Houston and a B.B.A. from Stephen F. Austin University. He is a Certified Public Account and holds the Certified Valuation Analyst designation as granted by the National Association of Valuation Analysts.
